Motivation For Muscle Building

When starting a new muscle building program motivation will be high, as you will be quite keen to put some new slabs of muscle on your physique. But what happens five or six weeks later when you are tired, unmotivated, and have to work late? Will you still have the discipline to make it to the gym?

For most people the answer to this question will be no. Staying consistently motivated to push your body to its limits day after day in the gym can be quite the challenge. As humans, we are most excited about things when they are new. I like to call this the “honeymoon phenomenon”. Novelty and motivation seem to go hand in hand for us, and as novelty fades, motivation takes the trip along with it.

Okay, So What Can I Do About It?

The trick to getting around this lies in the fact that novelty can be manufactured as well as discovered. In other words, it will be up to you to create novelty when it appears to have waned.

When couples get in a rut with their intimate lives, they tend to mix things up a bit to add something fresh to the relationship. They may take a trip, get involved with a new pastime, or spice things up in the bedroom with a new toy or two. You have to apply this same philosophy to your workouts.

Keep it Challenging

One of the best ways to achieve this is to set small performance goals in your workouts. Let us suppose that in your last chest workout you bench pressed 225 pounds for 6 reps. When your next chest workout comes around you could go for 7 reps. This does not only work with increasing reps or weight you could add an extra set and attempt to hit your target repetitions again. If you use a bit of creative thinking I am sure you can think of a lot of ways to add these little mini-challenges to your workouts.

Change Exercise Variations

If you have been performing back squats for the last few months, switch to front squats or Zercher squats and set some new performance goals for yourself. When you master new exercises you will promote more growth as well as improve the performance of your nervous system in response to a variety of stimuli.

Make a Motivational Mural

Go through every muscle magazine and website you can think of and pick out a bunch of images that inspire you. Cut or print them out and make a mural out of them, and put it somewhere you can look at it often. If you feel like slacking off and missing the gym take a good long look at your mural and remind yourself of what your goals are, and how badly you want to achieve them.

You may have to work at it a bit to keep yourself motivated, but the tips above will make the job a little easier, and keep you steadily moving toward your ultimate goals.

Development and maintenance of enterprise systems is becoming more difficult due to change drivers along multiple interconnected dimensions. It is advisable to model the enterprise ?rst and analyze it for potential concerns. For modeling enterprises, ontologies have been considered apt and have been used in the past for the same, but application of ontologies for EA analysis based on concepts of enterprise and relations between them have been scarce. We present our ongoing work on analyzing enterprise models using EA-based ontological representation of enterprise. Our contributions are twofold: ?rst, we show how an existing EA modeling language can be leveraged to create EA ontology and second, we show how two known EA analyses can be realized using this ontology.
Initial results suggest that ontology representation facilitates basic EA analysis prototyping due to right mix of representation and inference functionalities and is extensible for more involved EA analyses.

Motivation To Lose Weight

September 22, 2013 admin Weight Loss

Weight Loss Mind Preparation is an important part of getting your mind and body ready and motivated to undergo a Fat Loss program. This could just be the difference in reaching the goal you have set yourself to lose weight this year. It is my opinion that once your mind is ready and motivated then you are already half way there, because losing weight becomes a lot easier and you will be able to meet your targets quite quickly.

Now, one thing you need to do is to look back at your targets for last year and ask yourself if you were able to meet the goal of losing weight and transforming your body to what you want it to be today. The answer to this question is most probably no.

Next, ask yourself the reason why? Most probably, you did take action and started but eventually just gave up because you did not have the motivation to continue and finish the program and meet your targets.

Well, now it is 2013 and the chance at a fresh start to finally get rid of that excess fat, transform your body so you look and feel much more healthy and also gain more confidence as a result. All this can be achieved by mind preparation.

An important part of any weight loss plan is to make sure you get started well and to also set goals that you feel are realistic and achievable. I have put together a guide below based on my own personal experience which I hope will be able to help you to get started and stay motivated this year.

Visualize The Body You Want

This will take you just a few minutes. Shut your eyes and think about how you would like to look a couple of months from now. Let your mind create an image of you look like now and then visualize how your body should look in a month from now and then in two months and finally three months time. You need to ensure the final visual image is realistic and exactly what you want your body to be transformed into 2 to 3 months from now.

Set Your targets

What is your target? Do you want to shed just a few pounds and maybe tone up your body and build some muscles or are you looking to lose a lot of body fat and your primary aim is to lose as much weight as possible in a short space of time. The targets you set yourself need to be specific so you know exactly what it is you want to achieve in the next few weeks. This will help you to stay focused and enable you to get the results you are seeking.

What are Bad Goals:

Weight lose.Getting in shape.Gaining muscles.Becoming stronger.

What are Good Goals:

I want to lose 15 pounds!I want to improve my bench press by 20 pounds.I want to lose 20 pounds and become more fitter.I would like to be able to run 5 miles every week.

Plan Your Goal

Once you have specific targets set, you will need a plan to reach these targets. Your plan must be your guide during the process and ensure you overcome any potential roadblocks on your journey. When you do not have a plan, then any road block on a given day could take you off course for a few days or even several weeks. Your plan is your guide, a road map that prevents any roadblocks from having negative long term effects.

Have a Contingency Plan

Contingency plans are good if, for what ever reason, you fall behind on your weight loss plan, and want to get back on the right tracks. A good weight loss program should be able to help you maintain a log chart of your progress. This means you can stay informed with, what parts of the program you have finished and where you are at present so that you know what you need to do to get your plan on track.
